Our Mission

We're seeking a dynamic Team Lead to join our Credit Control team, overseeing the Accounts Receivable process. This critical role will support our financial health and ensure timely collection of payments.

The Role
  • Lead the Accounts Receivable team to achieve collection targets and minimize exposure to non-payments.
  • Develop strategies to reduce write-offs and allowance for doubtful debts.
  • Built a streamlined, IPO-ready collections team with compliant procedures for each country.
  • Document OTC processes and recommend additional controls for enhanced financial reporting integrity.
  • Monitor and evaluate team performance, providing coaching and development as needed.
  • Implement and improve credit control policies and procedures, ensuring ongoing compliance with internal procedures.
  • Ensure timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients.
  • Conduct credit assessments for new and existing customers.
  • Prepare reports on collection activities, outstanding debts, and risk assessments for senior management.
  • Liaise with internal departments to resolve invoice disputes and improve cash flow.
  • Ongoing management of customer records (updates and changes) and managing new customer set up process, including credit history and approving initial credits terms.
  • Maintain an effective and professional credit control system, serving as an escalation point for collection issues, and responsible for progressing collection issues to resolution.
Your Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Credit Control, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounts receivable processes and credit control procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in relevant ERP/Finance software.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
  • Leadership: Ability to conduct appraisals, set goals, and provide regular feedback.
