Philips is seeking a highly skilled Technologist to join our team in the Imaging Chain Cluster. As a key member of our team, you will drive technology choices for X-ray detectors and collaborate with external parties to identify opportunities for innovation.
Your Role:- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments in X-ray detectors and ensure Philips is aware of these advancements.
- Contribute to securing funding for new technologies through subsidiary programs.
- Develop and drive proposals for new technologies that align with our adjacent IGT business.
- Ensure the introduction of high-quality products through New Product Development.
- Enjoy professional and personal opportunities, including working with cutting-edge technologies, contributing to healthcare innovation, and leading in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- You have a strong background in Physics (MSc/PhD) with 10+ years of product development experience.
- You have experience with healthcare regulatory aspects, effective communication skills, and a continuous improvement attitude.
- You have a strong understanding of healthcare products and hardware development/maintenance.
- Experience in detector technologies is a plus.
- You're strong in X-functional alignment, including service, customers, and suppliers, to achieve the optimal integral result.
