About the RoleThis is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the development and introduction of high-quality, serviceable, and reliable detectors in our systems. As the Technical Department Manager, you will define the group composition, including required proficiencies, resources, and skills.
The ideal candidate has a MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, with 5+ years of technical development and demonstrated ability in People & Project management. Strong communication skills and experience with Healthcare Regulatory aspects are essential.
You will handle relationships with external partners like suppliers and customers, as well as internal partners like Innovation, Operations, Customer Services, Procurement, and Marketing. This role offers the opportunity to build relationships and create alignment with several partners impacting X-ray detector technology.
Your Responsibilities- Lead the X-ray Detectors department of approximately 15 engineers located in the Netherlands and India.
- Define and implement process improvement activities.
- Ensure successful introduction and sustaining of high-quality detectors in our systems.
- MSc/PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5+ years of technical development experience.
- Demonstrated ability in People & Project management.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with Healthcare Regulatory aspects (FDA 820.x, IEC 62304, IEC60601, ISO13485, ISO14971).
We offer a competitive salary range of €120,000 - €180,000 per annum, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition to your base salary, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, pension plan, and generous paid time off.
