About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward to join our Market Data Governance team at ABN AMRO. As a Data Steward, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity, quality, and usability of our market data assets.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for:
- Managing and overseeing the entire data lifecycle, from creation and collection to preparation, usage, storage, and deletion
- Analyzing and solving data quality issues, defining and registering Golden datasets & data products, including metadata, data lineage, definitions, and the Business data model
- Ensuring data lineage is in order, and we know exactly which data is available for consumption and where it is consumed
- Supporting use case owners in drawing up complete and clearly designed use cases, reviewing desired data, and validating data sharing agreements
- Defining data quality requirements, prioritizing data issues, and ensuring they are resolved as quickly as possible
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A good understanding of the financial markets and products
- Proven experience in data governance policies & procedures and the ability to improve data processes and policies
- Understanding of data management concepts, principles, and practices throughout the entire data lifecycle
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey requirements in a clear and accessible manner
- Effective cross-functional collaboration skills with stakeholders at multiple levels in the organization
- Experience with the agile way of working within ABN AMRO (including scaling ceremonies and events), and experience with the Scrum or DevOps method
- Skilled in process design and process management
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and advisory skills
- Result-oriented with an open and transparent style of communication
