Data Steward Markets Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Steward to join our team in Markets at ABN AMRO. As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data, working closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Key responsibilities include analyzing and solving data quality issues, defining and registering Golden datasets & data products, and ensuring data lineage is in order. You will also support use case owners in drawing up complete and clearly designed use cases, review desired data, and validate data sharing agreements.
As a Data Steward, you will be an important link in implementing data management in accordance with all laws and regulations and adhering to ABN AMRO data standards. You will work within our Data Domain, managing and overseeing all aspects of the data lifecycle, from creation and collection to preparation, usage, storage, and deletion.
About the TeamYou will be part of the Grid Financial Markets, a team that consists of 7 departments, including four value chains, the Data Domain Markets Support & Oversight team, a Data Products management team, and one Advanced Analytics team. We work in an open and transparent way, valuing dialogue and encouraging collaboration.
Our team is responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the data lifecycle, from creation and collection to preparation, usage, storage, and deletion. We work closely with stakeholders to identify and resolve data quality issues, and we are committed to delivering high-quality data to support business operations and innovations.
About YouTo be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of the financial markets products and processes, as well as experience in data governance policies & procedures. You will also need to have good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey requirements in a clear and accessible manner.
As a Data Steward, you will be responsible for analyzing and solving data quality issues, defining and registering Golden datasets & data products, and ensuring data lineage is in order. You will also support use case owners in drawing up complete and clearly designed use cases, review desired data, and validate data sharing agreements.
