About the Role

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Tester to join our dynamic team in The Hague.


Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for IT projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed test plans, guaranteeing seamless execution and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Craft and execute automated testing scripts, enhancing efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Technical Coordinators to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Lead the testing process for IT projects, fostering strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct regular project status updates, highlighting key issues and proposed actions.
  • Provide timely and informative reporting on testing progress and evolution.
  • Execute manual tests, accurately recording results and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate maintenance needs effectively to stakeholders.
  • Participate in System and Acceptance testing activities, ensuring alignment with business requirements and user expectations.
  • Assess and review IT project deliverables, providing actionable feedback on quality and documentation.
  • Review system manuals for clarity and usability, making recommendations for enhancements.
  • Deliver training sessions on custom-developed and COTS software applications to stakeholders and users.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, combined with at least 7 years of IT experience and 3 years of specific work experience in this position.
  • ISTQB Test Manager certification is highly desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Proven knowledge of main tools used for project backlog management, such as JIRA, TFS, or similar.
  • Excellent communication skills, backed by extensive professional experience in an EU or multicultural environment.
  • Proficiency in English language at least B2 Level.

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum
