The company is seeking an experienced Senior HVDC Project Manager to join its team at the Arnhem Rijnpoort location.

This key role will play a pivotal part in managing complex HVDC projects, working closely with internal teams and external contractors to ensure smooth project operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and representing the Project Lead HVDC in operational tasks, stepping in as their representative when necessary.
  • Managing and optimizing all technical processes, including queries, documentation, and contractor coordination.
  • Maintaining risk, schedule, and technical challenge tracking, taking action where required.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and streamlining engineering workflows.
  • Ensuring technical substantiation for releasing payment milestones and completing project phases.
  • Collaborating in workshops and participating in technical reviews.
  • Working closely with HVDC discipline leads and experts from the Netherlands and Germany, applying lessons learned from large-scale projects.

We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic environment. Key qualifications include:

  • Engineering expertise, preferably in HVDC projects or technical project management for complex projects.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to motivate and challenge teams, clearly communicate across different levels and disciplines.
  • Natural leadership abilities, initiative, and decision-making skills, understanding the needs of stakeholders and guiding teams and contractors effectively.
  • Passion, commitment, flexibility, and a strong work ethic, with the ability to adapt to project demands.
  • Team collaboration and problem-solving skills, with fluency in English and Dutch language skills being a plus.
  • A willingness to travel internationally, approximately 4 to 5 days every two months, to our contractor's engineering offices in Sweden and the UAE, and the production site in Malaysia.

We offer a competitive salary of €85,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on experience, and a range of benefits, including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a collaborative work environment.
