About the Role

Van Hay is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new products and business initiatives from a financial risk management perspective.
  • Validate internal risk and investment models, as well as financial risk-related reporting processes.
  • Perform in-depth risk and scenario analyses to determine potential financial risks in specific processes.
  • Contribute to reports prepared for the Board and Risk Committees.
  • Stay up-to-date with new laws and regulations in the field.

Requirements

  • University degree in finance/economics or related field, with FRM and/or CFA certification.
  • Seven to ten years of experience in financial risk management, preferably in banking and investment management.
  • Good knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.
  • Solid understanding of banking and investment products.
  • Experience with ALM, model validation, stress testing, ICAAP, ILAAP, and recovery plans.
  • Strong analytical skills, proactive approach, and excellent communication skills.
