We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our Wafer Alignment department at ASML. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of tooling for data analysis and help us push the boundaries of innovation in the field of lithography.
Background InformationOur Wafer Alignment function is responsible for creating the horizontal wafer deformation model from measurements, which is then communicated to the expose side of the scanner. This is a critical component of our lithography scanner, and we are looking for someone who can help us optimize this process.
Your AssignmentAs an intern, you will work on developing part of the tooling for data analysis in Julia. This will involve working closely with our engineers to understand their requirements and developing solutions that meet their needs. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the application domain of Julia programming language and how it is used in our industry.
Your Profile- You are a bachelor student in Physics, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- You have basic programming knowledge and linear algebra knowledge (matrix vector operations, matrix inversion).
- You have knowledge on data structures (Julia/Python, pandas data frames).
- You are pro-active and capable of working independently.
- You have great communication skills in English both verbally and in writing.
We offer a flexible internship duration of 3 to 6 months, for 3-5 days a week, starting in August/September 2024. You will receive a monthly internship allowance of maximum €600 (plus a possible housing and free public transport). You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic team environment and gain valuable experience in a highly innovative environment.
