Chief Mechanical Designer for Machine Building Projects

At ACE development & engineering, we are seeking a skilled Chief Mechanical Designer to lead our machine building projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and detailing our projects, managing designers and draughtsmen, and ensuring project administration is handled efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing concepts within various machine building projects in Inventor.
  • Performing and checking structural calculations.
  • Managing designers and draughtsmen within the team for detailed and composition drawings.
  • Taking care of project administration.
  • Ensuring project planning is respected.
  • Advising and supporting clients and colleagues during every phase of the project.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electromechanics, Mechanical Engineering, Design and Production Technology.
  • 5 years of relevant work experience in designing mechanical structures and machines.
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English language, spoken and written.
  • Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Inventor or another CAD package.
  • Good communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Analytical, pragmatic, and creative.
  • A team player who can lead and follow, motivate and support.
