About the Role

Lloyd's Register is seeking a highly skilled Ship Structure Specialist to join our team in Rotterdam. As a key member of our Marine Technical Support team, you will be responsible for leading structural plan appraisals, liaising with clients and flag authorities, and contributing to exciting projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan appraisal for Special Service Craft vessels, Structural aspects.
  • Client contact to discuss the plan appraisal results.
  • Contact with Flag Authorities
  • Participation in Project Management
  • Project administration as per office procedures

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Naval Architecture or equivalent
  • Knowledge of statutory regulations (SOLAS, MARPOL, LOADLINE, ITC)
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience
  • Pragmatic work attitude
  • Fluent in English both spoken and written.
  • Knowledge of the Dutch language is preferable.
