Accounting Expertise
The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the accounting function, including financial reporting, tax filings, and month-end close activities. This role requires expertise in accounting principles and practices, as well as the ability to analyze financial data and identify areas for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoicing and payment processing.
- Oversee the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare and review tax filings, including corporate and individual tax returns.
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure smooth month-end close processes.
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance.
- Provide guidance and training to junior accountants and peers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and tax compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
