Job Overview

Olympia is seeking a skilled Mail Preparation Specialist to join our team in Assen. As a Mail Preparation Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of mail and parcels to our customers.

In this role, you will be responsible for accurately sorting and preparing mail for dispatch. You will work closely with our team to ensure that mail is correctly processed and delivered to the right recipients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Mail Preparation Specialist, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sorting and preparing mail for dispatch
  • Verifying addresses and shipping details
  • Operating mail processing machines to handle mail efficiently
  • Working collaboratively with the team to meet delivery deadlines
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • No minimum educational requirements
  • Precision and attention to detail
  • An enthusiastic and motivated attitude
  • Proficiency in Dutch or English
  • Availability for at least 3 days per week, from Tuesday to Saturday
Working Conditions

You will work from Tuesday to Saturday, with a minimum availability of 3 days per week. Your work hours will start at 5:15 AM and end around 9:30 AM. This schedule allows for a good work-life balance and flexibility to pursue other activities. The hourly wage is €13.68, and you will also receive travel expense reimbursement. There are opportunities for personal growth and advancement within Olympia.

For those aged 21 and over, you will receive a salary of €13.68 per hour, along with a 40% bonus for working between 5:15 AM and 6:00 AM and a 20% bonus for working between 6:00 AM and 8:00 AM. If you are between 18 and 20 years old, you will receive the following salary and bonuses:

  • 17 years old: €7.63
  • 18 years old: €9.28
  • 19 years old: €10.18
  • 20 years old: €11.08

If both parties are satisfied, there is a chance that you could be offered a contract with Olympia.
