This role plays a crucial part in ensuring maximum output capacity, plant efficiency, and operational costs are minimized.

The ideal candidate will oversee maintenance activities, develop site improvement programs, manage work order systems, and monitor equipment performance.

  • Develop and maintain a program for site improvements, new technology introduction, and maintenance plans to ensure high-standard work completion in accordance with customer objectives,
  • Manage the work order system and preventive/predictive maintenance plans for production and utilities, monitoring equipment performance, and improving efficiency,
  • Ensure quality of spare parts and services purchased, manage suppliers' and contractors' performance, and ensure compliance with safety and site procedures,
  • Participate in maintenance and capital budget preparation and cost expenditure forecasts, review regularly to assure appropriate spending levels,
  • Maximize plant availability through reliability principles and optimal asset management, and maintain optimal manning levels,
  • Responsible for preparing and leading maintenance stops
  • Coach and develop employees to effectively practice Performance Based Management and ensure alignment with matrix functions.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, focusing on electrotechnical or mechanical disciplines desired,
  • Minimum five to eight years of experience in maintenance or engineering roles in manufacturing environments, including three years of supervisory experience,
  • Familiarity with safety procedures such as confined space entry, lockout/tagout, and hot work permitting,
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management and relevant standards such as NEN 1010 and NEN 3140,
  • Strong leadership skills for implementing and driving Maintenance Management Improvements (MMP),
  • Analytical and data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions,
  • Leadership team-level operating capabilities,
  • Knowledge of Reliability Centered Maintenance principles,
  • Proven ability to manage and develop budgets effectively,
  • Understanding of engineering standards, specifications, and environmental awareness,
  • Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
Compensation:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
