Prothya Biosolutions seeks a highly skilled and experienced Country Finance Manager Netherlands to join our team.


The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the audit, annual accounts process, and managing a team of 3 AP clerks.


The Country Finance Manager Netherlands will provide high-quality financial and accounting services, including performing complex and technical accounting duties to ensure the accuracy and completeness of accounting data and financial reports.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform month-end account closing activities and prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Be responsible for financial accounting, including maintaining the GL Accounts, preparing journal entries for accruals, variances, payroll, depreciation, etc.
  • Take care of tax compliance with tax preparation and filing activities.
  • Internally, ensure components of internal controls, MI reporting, and work with our auditors.
  • Work closely with FP&A for explanation of deviations from budget and forecast.
  • Support the auditor in conducting internal and external audits.
  • Prepare cash flow statements, management reports, and ad hoc reporting requests to support decisions.
  • Perform analysis in collaboration with the Corporate Controller/Manager Accounting.
  • Develop procedures and working methods for the organization and the maintenance of the financial administration.

Your Profile:

As a Country Finance Manager Netherlands, you will be an enthusiastic, analytically sharp, and communicatively strong financial with a healthy dose of 'ownership' and 'entrepreneurship.'


You will have a proactive and hands-on attitude, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.


Additionally, you will have a good command of Dutch and English language, with the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.


An MBA or CPA is preferred, with a minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in similar positions.


You will be a team player with a strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
