About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Information Risk Manager IT to join our team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our Information Risk Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our services.
The organization is undergoing significant changes to better serve our customers and the market, with a focus on countervailing power shaping our strategic direction. As Information Risk Management, you will report directly to the Manager Risk Management of ABN AMRO Bank.
This rapid development of digitalization within ABN AMRO Bank requires Risk Managers with IT affinity and extensive knowledge in the field of IT governance, processes, and controls, as well as special interest in new technologies such as social media, mobile, data analytics, blockchain, and cloud/cyber security and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive information risk management strategies and policies in alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Facilitate risk assessments across the organization, identifying and mitigating information security risks and perform vulnerability assessments to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of sensitive data and systems.
- Provide clear expert opinions and recommendations on information risk management issues to senior management and relevant committees.
- Prepare and present detailed risk reports, trend analyses, and key performance indicators related to information security to senior leadership and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as IT, legal, compliance, and senior management to drive a culture of security awareness and compliance.
- Stay updated on emerging threats, trends, and technologies in cybersecurity to proactively enhance the company's security posture.

About You
- Master's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Ideally around 10 years of experience in EDP audit or information risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
- Professional certifications such as RE, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
- Experience with interpreting external regulations in the area of Information security and data management.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, relevant regulations (NIST, DORA, GDPR, PSD II, PCI-DSS, ISO 27001).
- Proven ability to analyze complex information security issues, develop actionable plans, and drive results.
- Experience in enhancing IT Risk awareness and providing training in the IT Risk Management domain.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and departments.
What We Offer
- The gross monthly salary displayed above is based on a 36-hour work week, including vacation pay and benefit budget. The Benefit Budget is 11% of your salary. The Benefit Budget allows you to acquire additional employment benefits. If you make no purchases or reservations in the Benefit Shop in a given month, you are paid one twelfth of your Benefit Budget that month.
- Five weeks of vacation per year. You have the option to purchase an additional four weeks per year.
