About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Lead Broker Engagement Specialist to join our team at AIG. As a key member of our commercial insurance business development team, you will be responsible for developing new business and securing our portfolio with Partner Brokers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to grow our commercial insurance business with Partner Brokers;
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Partner Brokers to identify new business opportunities and expand existing portfolios;
  • Collaborate with underwriters and claim handlers to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities;
  • Develop and implement broker plans to maximize output and achieve business objectives;
  • Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities and stay ahead of the competition;
  • Provide thought leadership and expertise to Partner Brokers to differentiate AIG from other insurers.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in commercial insurance sales and business development;
  • Strong understanding of the Dutch insurance market and its dynamics;
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with Partner Brokers and other stakeholders;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
