As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of services, capacity planning, and implementing change and improvement processes across the entire operation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring services are executed efficiently and at the required qualitative and quantitative level
  • Capacity planning (staff, materials) in the short- and medium-term, building strategy for long-term staff development
  • Implementation of change and improvement processes across the entire operation
  • Ensuring collaboration between all parties in the entire order-to-cash process and avoiding silo-thinking
  • Total Cost ownership for Warehouse and Operations
  • Leading, developing, and delivering performance improvement plans to ensure the achievement of budgets and overall company performance targets

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor or Master degree (in for example: Logistics, Business Administration, or Engineering)
  • 5-7 years' experience in an operations environment
  • Analytical and strategic thinking with good business acumen and the ability to think from the 'customers' perspective
  • Extensive demonstrable experience in a contract logistics environment
  • Strong financial knowledge covering budget forecasting
