Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Controller to join our Finance team at Foot Locker. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and improving the efficiency of our Supply Chain operations.
Key Responsibilities- Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and manage annual operating budgets, monthly forecasts, and report financial results with analysis of variances.
- Financial Analysis: Drive analysis and recommendations through business intelligence and reporting, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Supply Chain Optimization: Improve the cost-effectiveness of our Supply Chain operations, including owned operations and third-party logistics providers.
- Financial Reporting: Partner with the Accounting team and Budget owners to complete monthly financial closes and provide timely financial reporting.
- Financial Performance: Drive financial performance by highlighting savings opportunities and risks, and following up on corrective actions.
- Reporting and Analysis: Produce recurring reports and variance analysis, as well as ad-hoc analysis as needed to address evolving changes in the business.
- Leadership and Support: Act as a sparring partner and backup for the Director Finance Supply Chain EMEA.
- Education: Master's degree in Finance and Accounting or equivalent.
- Experience: 4-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Retail Finance.
- Skills: Excellent Excel and data manipulation skills, experience with Power BI is a plus.
- Language: Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
- Other: Strong understanding of accounting concepts, strong communication and analytical skills, strong level of autonomy and self-accountability, teamwork and team leading skills, and ability to work under time/results pressure.
