We are seeking a seasoned expert in Hematology/Oncology to join our team as a Clinical Development Medical Director. As a pioneer in this field, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key opinion leaders, providing scientific and medical expertise to internal and external stakeholders, and driving the development and execution of clinical plans for our haemato-oncology assets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of clinical plans for our haemato-oncology assets, ensuring alignment with regulatory imperatives and scientific rationale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the execution of clinical trials, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, providing scientific and medical expertise to support our business objectives.
  • Contribute to the assessment and appraisal of external assets and their potential to contribute to our internal programmes.
  • Develop and implement innovative clinical development plans, merging scientific rationale with regulatory imperatives.

Requirements:

  • Recognized leader with a broad knowledge of the drug development process, interpreting and applying scientific knowledge in the design and revision of clinical trials.
  • Ability to interact credibly with key functions internally and key scientific, regulatory bodies externally.
  • Strategic management of complex active development programmes and competing priorities.
  • Clear knowledge and expertise of publication planning.
  • Ability to build and establish a dynamic and inclusive culture with a positive, abundant mindset.
