About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Trade Finance team at ABN Amro. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving digital change and ensuring a friction-free customer experience.

Your primary responsibility will be to gather, structure, and define as-is and new jobs-to-be-done, use-cases, and scenarios from a client or bank's perspective. You will then turn these into well-defined and clear user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and business process models.

As a Business Analyst, you will be the link between various teams, including scrum delivery teams, and will be responsible for communicating clearly and building bridges between business and IT. You will also ensure that IT teams have clear requirements that can be further refined for delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and structure as-is and new jobs-to-be-done, use-cases, and scenarios from a client or bank's perspective
  • Define user stories, functional and non-functional requirements, and business process models
  • Communicate clearly and build bridges between business and IT
  • Ensure IT teams have clear requirements that can be further refined for delivery

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Consultant, preferably in a banking institution
  • Hands-on experience in requirements elicitation, specification, verification, validation, and management
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to distinguish between what is important and what is less important
  • Top-notch communication skills and ability to detect and deal with organizational sensitivity
  • Experience working with agile IT teams towards technology delivery

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Trade Finance experience in sales, product management, operations, and/or IT
  • Familiarity with maintaining and developing Trade Finance electronic banking products and channels
  • Dutch speaking, but not a must
