About You and This Role
We are looking for a Customer Information Group Representative to join our Customer Information Group (CIG) team.
This department serves as the contact center for delivering information regarding DOW's products to customers, channel partners, prospects, and various stakeholders.
The team is responsible for addressing and responding to escalated inquiries on behalf of customers and prospects concerning products and services, while also disseminating information across specific DOW business units and functions.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a change agent by enhancing DOW's reputation through exceptional customer service. Manage client interactions - address inquiries and requests related to technical, regulatory, samples, literature, etc., via inbound calls and emails while ensuring top-notch customer service. Document all customer inquiries in alignment with performance and service standards. Leverage business and process knowledge to elevate the service levels provided to customers. Handle a complex workload with sound judgment regarding activity prioritization. Collaborate with various stakeholders and partners within the organization, including Product Stewards, Regulatory teams, Sales, and Customer Service. Promote a collaborative atmosphere within the team, emphasizing learning, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.Qualifications
A minimum of a vocational degree (MBO-4) is required. Demonstrated experience in customer service or a related role, proficient in handling emails and telephone communications, with strong listening, verbal, and written skills. Fluency in English and German is essential for effective communication with customers and management. Possess commercial acumen (ability to identify sales opportunities and act accordingly): a proactive attitude is essential. Competence in operating computer systems accurately and efficiently (CRM, SAP, Microsoft Office). Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively is crucial. Adaptability to implement new procedures as necessary to ensure excellent customer service.Preferred Skills
