About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to join our team at Fugro. As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving innovation initiatives to restructure, optimize, and future-proof our Metocean workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage innovation projects from concept to successful adoption by the business.
- Contribute to shaping and execution of the Metocean data strategic roadmap.
- Collaborate with data experts and solution architects to ensure innovations are implemented across the business.
- Define requirements and goals for relevant development projects.
- Bring deep technical and market knowledge to support the creation of user stories and prioritization of backlog.
- Assist in defining the innovation budget and monitor overall progress of internal and external developments.
- Understand client needs, establish business cases, and translate these needs into a product vision and business requirements.
- Manage external supplier activities to produce outsourced technical tools/functionality.
- Oversee the Innovation Agile process for this project.
- Responsible for detailed analysis, recording, and communication of Metocean data and process requirements.
Requirements
- BSc degree in IT or domain-related field.
- Broad experience in Metocean monitoring & forecasting Data and Operational Technology.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong drive for innovation and experience in the development & marketing of new solutions for clients.
- Cross-cultural awareness, excellent communication skills in English.
