We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Manager to join our Offshore Energy team at Boskalis. As a SHEQ Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the business unit Marine Services in achieving its safety, health, and environmental goals.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing expert advice and guidance on safety, health, and environmental matters to the Business Unit Director and stakeholders;
- Developing and implementing effective SHEQ policies and procedures;
- Ensuring the successful implementation of NINA and WoW programs;
- Managing SHEQ management information and reporting, including dashboards and KPIs;
- Investigating incidents and developing corrective actions;
- Supporting project-specific pre-qualification and tender activities;
- Coaching and mentoring project SHEQ personnel;
- Conducting internal audits and guiding external audits;
- Visiting vessels and engaging with offshore crews.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- At least 5 years of experience in a SHEQ role, preferably in the oil and gas or maritime industry;
- A bachelor's degree in integrated safety or a related field;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- The ability to motivate and convince others to adopt SHEQ best practices;
- A good command of written and spoken English (and Dutch).
