Role Overview

The Project Strategy Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely execution and successful delivery of designated projects and processes. This includes evaluating business cases, meticulous project planning, collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders, comprehensive reporting, and seamless handover to operational teams. Additionally, the Project Strategy Manager is tasked with fostering and sustaining strong relationships primarily within internal departments while supporting the Country organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of project delivery and implement corrective measures when outcomes significantly diverge from expectations.
  • Initiate essential business actions and make informed decisions to meet objectives, seize opportunities, mitigate risks, and enhance team organization quality.
  • Guarantee high-quality execution of one-off projects and process modifications within the standard operational framework to ensure efficient processing and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of financial business cases through data analysis and research of both internal and external information.
  • Establish project frameworks including governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with various departments (Commercial, MS, Finance, Operations, etc.) to secure support, prioritize tasks, coordinate efforts, and gather pertinent information for effective business management.
  • Oversee project timelines and budgets, while analyzing and documenting relevant information.
  • Develop insightful dashboards and reporting tools for country teams to enhance and optimize their key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Regularly establish policies, procedures, and training materials, support annual reviews of regulations, and ensure all materials are current.

Main Performance Indicators

  • Development and implementation of business cases, new products, and services.
  • Quality of refunds (e.g., issue and refund ratios).
  • Profit and Loss, budget management, and cost control.

Required Competencies

  • Highly organized and methodical.
  • Strong ability to lead and coordinate projects with both internal (up to Senior Management level) and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly within a diverse global organization.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in both Dutch and English (verbal and written).
  • Knowledge of French is advantageous.
  • Strong presentation and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Microstrategy and Salesforce is a plus.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Preferably a master's degree in economics or project management.
  • Previous experience in Operations or Finance sectors is beneficial.
  • Experience in an international corporate environment is advantageous.
  • 5 to 10 years of experience in Project Management within an international context.
