Privacy Compliance Specialist
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Privacy Compliance Specialist to join our Privacy team in Amsterdam. The team works closely with our commercial, compliance, and product teams, while collaborating and negotiating with customers to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy laws and regulations around the world.
You have a passion for Adyen and would like to contribute to our further growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Strengthen Adyen's data privacy compliance framework.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including commercial, product, marketing, data, and regulatory teams, to ensure that privacy matters are effectively and efficiently managed.
- Review and negotiate data processing agreements with customers and suppliers.
- Anticipate data protection obligations and risks and ensure they are addressed. Keep track of new legislative proposals and legal developments regarding privacy.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in the privacy field, including GDPR, preferably with experience in privacy compliance and negotiating data processing agreements.
- Natural-born networker with high energy, a confident self-starter with a proven commercial edge, entrepreneurial mindset, and strong negotiation skills.
- Team player with the ability to include different people to sharpen your ideas.
- Solid interpersonal skills, specifically able to liaise and connect with internal and external stakeholders and customers from varying disciplines and cultures.
- Ability to structure and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and build and drive processes to completion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
