About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Credit Risk Manager to lead our Credit Risk Requirements Setting team at ABN AMRO Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing requirements for credit risk metrics and other Credit Risk Life Cycle topics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Credit Risk Requirements Setting team to develop and implement credit risk regulatory requirements, future regulations, and related requirements setup.
  • Oversee the transition from temporary staff to permanent internal staffing, growing the team to 21 FTE.
  • Guide the team through changes while staying updated on model landscape, credit risk strategy, and regulations.
  • Deep knowledge of CRD/CRR/CoRep/FinRep is essential for interpreting CRR implications accurately.
  • Represent the team in senior management meetings and bank-wide projects.
  • Organize the team to be a proactive center for credit risk requirements setting.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders while maintaining a balanced approach to regulatory topics.
  • Work on defined topics within work packages using a semi-sprint based approach.
Working Environment

As a Senior Credit Risk Manager at ABN AMRO Bank, you will play a vital role in overseeing credit risk policies within our organization. The team interacts with different departments, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders. You will create solutions, documentation, and standards for regulatory compliance and updates.

Your Profile
  • Leadership skills, 10-15 years of relevant experience, and understanding of credit risk requirements impact are essential.
  • Must possess strong knowledge of credit risk regulations and hold an academic education in a relevant field.
  • Ability to handle detailed questions and overarching challenges with proactive communication.
  • Comfortable engaging with stakeholders on both content and strategy.
  • Evaluation based on individual qualities and contribution to team diversity.
