About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Risk Specialist - Credit to join our team at ING. As a key member of our Credit Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our credit risk models and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of credit risk models and methodologies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely credit risk assessments
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of credit risk data and provide recommendations for improvement
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Front Office, Risk Management, and IT
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, and ensure our credit risk models and processes are aligned with these requirements

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, finance, or a related field
  • At least 8 years of experience in credit risk management or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide recommendations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Excel, SQL, and programming languages such as VBA, Python, or Java
