NEW CONSTRUCTION MACHINERY SURVEYOR (GRONINGEN AREA)
Bureau Veritas Marine is a global classification society dedicated to fostering trust in maritime operations. Our goal is to enhance quality, safety, and sustainability in the marine sector, benefiting society at large.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a surveyor, you will conduct inspections during the construction of seagoing vessels in accordance with classification standards and international regulations. Your role includes performing technical assessments, documenting inspections, and liaising with shipyards, vessel owners, and plan approval authorities.
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
You should possess a completed bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering and have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a marine engineer. Strong technical expertise and familiarity with international regulations are essential. Prior experience in a surveying role is advantageous.
Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken, is mandatory. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment are also required.
