As a Category Manager Ingredients, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, improve quality, and enhance service levels. You will work closely with our suppliers to negotiate contracts, identify opportunities for improvement, and develop initiatives to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

We're looking for someone with a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of success in strategic procurement. If you're a team player with a passion for food ingredients and a desire to make a real impact, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for ingredients across the Intersnack Group
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure the best possible terms
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement initiatives to reduce costs and improve quality
  • Work closely with suppliers to build strong relationships and drive business results

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field
  • 4-7 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in the food industry
  • Fluent spoken and written English and German required
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Ability to develop strong working relationships and be a valuable team player
