Job Description

As our new Q&FS Analytical Excellence Laboratory Performance Intern, you will be responsible for managing analytical alternative methods project management either for NIR/IR or alternative microbiological methods depending on your expertise. This role requires excellent data management skills using Power BI, Excel, and other digital tools.

You will be working within the Analytical Excellence (AE) Laboratory Performance & Data & Digital team in our Danone Place Amsterdam office. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing datasets within the laboratory network, including proficiency results
  • Supporting laboratory organization with data & tools, including Power BI, Excel, and Power Query
  • Managing different datasets within the laboratory network, including proficiency results
  • AE Quality Management System (QMS) document management creation and management
  • Involved in diverse lab-related projects and data mining & root cause analysis
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Experience in Power BI and Excel advanced; power Query, Excel MDS, Datalyzer, NIR/IR is a plus
  • Enrolled as a Master's student in Food Chemistry / Microbiology / Life Science or related field during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university)
  • Ideally available to start in October/November 2024 for a minimum of 6 months, 4-5 days per week
  • You are fluent in English - spoken and written
  • You are able to work from Hoofddorp, Netherlands at least 2 times per week
  • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN number
