Propulsion Systems Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Integration Engineer Propulsion Systems to join our team at Damen Naval. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for the design and integration of propulsion systems into our naval projects throughout the engineering phase.
Key Responsibilities- Develop functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on customer and design requirements.
- Perform technical evaluations of quotations from suppliers in close cooperation with the purchasing department.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable requirements imposed by customers and statutory bodies.
- Acquire and review supplier engineering information and documentation.
- Integrate delivered components and systems into ship design and with other propulsion components.
- Compose technical and functional specification documents.
- Verify technical performance of products and systems.
- Contribute to the further development of the engineering department.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in and knowledge of propulsion systems in the naval shipbuilding, offshore, or commercial shipbuilding.
- Good knowledge of English and preferably Dutch, both verbally and in writing.
- Competencies: customer, quality, and results orientation, teamwork, behavioral flexibility, planning, and organizing, management control, decisiveness, and initiative.
- Excellent references and a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure.
- Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required.
- A competitive salary and 8% holiday pay.

- Travel allowance of 23 cents per kilometre.
