Join Our Team as a Senior Integration Engineer Interior

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Integration Engineer Interior to join our team at Damen Naval in Vlissingen. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful subcontracting and detailed engineering of joinery/accommodation systems for our naval vessels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop functional technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors based on customer and design requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to select suitable materials and suppliers for accommodation joinery and insulation.
  • Support quality inspections and Factory Acceptance Tests to ensure finished joinery meets required standards.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to the production team, resolving any issues that arise during the project.
  • Work closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of joinery works with other ship systems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Civil Architecture, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Technical Specification Engineer or similar role, focusing on joinery works in the maritime industry.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex engineering data.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbal and knowledge of German is a significant advantage.
