Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner to join our team at Newell Brands. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for planning and managing the inventory of raw materials and packaging to meet service-level targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchase orders and analyze purchase requisitions based on forecasts, customer orders, and historical data.
  • Manage stock parameters in line with EPC guidelines and follow up on transitions in packaging and parts to ensure smooth introductions and launches.
  • Convert firmed purchase requisitions into purchase orders and follow up on purchase orders, vendor confirmations, and expedite requests.
  • Address daily issues related to purchase orders and deliveries, provide purchase forecasts to suppliers, and firm outsourcing requisitions.
  • Track supplier deliveries, set priorities, and report in the outstanding and priorities team meeting.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • 5-8 years of experience with proven results in Operations, Inventory Management, Supply Chain Management, or Procurement.
  • High proficiency in SAP (R/3, SAP APO, and SAP BW/BEX reports) and MS Excel and Access.
  • APICS certification is preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English.
