Position Title: Professor of Climate Change and Sustainability

Institution: HKU

Overview:

  • We seek an innovative and experienced academic to fill the role of Professor of Climate Change and Sustainability, specializing in the interplay between climate dynamics, sustainable practices, and human-environment relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate exceptional intellectual leadership and contribute meaningfully to the academic community and the institution.
  • Instruct students at both undergraduate and graduate levels, oversee research projects, engage in scholarly research, and fulfill relevant administrative and service responsibilities.
  • Facilitate collaborative research projects, mentor junior faculty and students, and play a pivotal role in the strategic growth of the department.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is essential, along with substantial teaching and research experience, and a robust record of publications.
  • Experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow is advantageous for candidates applying for the Assistant Professor role.

Compensation and Benefits:
