Univar Solutions, a leading global distributor of chemicals and ingredients, is seeking a highly skilled Operations Manager to lead our Dutch operations.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of professionals to deliver all site operational activities, covering warehousing, production, and quality control.
  • Manage safety and quality of service through clear processes, training, and competency management.
  • Drive cost-effective operations and continuously improve processes to increase efficiency.
  • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures, policies, and equipment within the facility.
  • Develop and recommend new policies, procedures, and safety standards to ensure compliance and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a chemical field or equivalent business experience.
  • 3-5+ years of operations and distribution experience, with a focus on safety leadership.
  • Proficient in English and Dutch languages, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record in production and warehouse leadership, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, including profit and loss statements, to inform business decisions.
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
