Operational Risk Manager

We are seeking an experienced Operational Risk Manager to join our team at ABN Amro. As a key member of our Risk Management department, you will play a crucial role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating operational risks that could impact our business.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Facilitating risk assessments across the organization and enhancing risk control measures
- Providing expert opinions and recommendations to management on non-financial risk management issues
- Preparing and presenting detailed risk reports, including trend analyses and aligned risk opinions on key risk and key performance indicators
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to drive a culture of security awareness and compliance
- Staying up-to-date on emerging threats and trends in non-financial risk types to proactively advise the company's security posture
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced risk management professional with a strong background in non-financial risk management. Your ideal profile includes:
- A post-HBO or post-master's degree in risk management or a related field
- Professional risk management certifications, such as PRM, CRMP, CRISC, CIA, or CRMA
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and relevant regulations
- At least 5 years of experience in non-financial risk management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry
- Proven ability to assess control effectiveness, analyze complex issues, develop actionable plans, and drive results
- Experience in enhancing risk awareness and providing training in the risk management domain
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams and departments
