Thesis Project Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team for a thesis project. The project will involve CFD modelling of flow through a valve and MATLAB modelling of pressure pulsation in fluids. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a challenging project and gain valuable experience in the field of mechanical engineering.

VTG Department:

The VTG (Venlo Technology Group) is responsible for innovation projects and provides support for all other departments within the organization. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about research and development and has a strong background in mechanical engineering.

Requirements:

  • The student is currently enrolled in a Dutch University in Mechanical Engineering (or comparable);
  • The project would be done as a Master thesis;
  • The assignment requires full-time (40 hours) commitment from the candidate;
  • Fluency in English language, verbally as well as in writing;
  • Experience with Cradle CFD or MATLAB is a pré;
  • You are analytical person. you enjoy researching information, data or problems. You think in terms of solutions and can process information efficiently;
  • You are flexible and you can easily adapt to a changing environment.
