Business Development Manager

**Job Summary**
The Manager, Practice Development will be responsible for driving the expansion and sale of DMA's services in the designated region as directed by DMA's regional Practice Director.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitable revenue and market share growth for assigned territory through business development activities.
- Qualify new business opportunities and expand relationships with current clients and partners.
- Participate in sales meetings and collaborate with the sales process.
- Ensure quality client satisfaction through collaboration with the service team.
- Maintain accurate information in the Opportunity Management System.
- Report territory activity to the manager.
- Prepare and maintain monthly forecast reports.
- Assist DMA in coordinating outside legal counsel as necessary in providing tax services.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 3-5 years of professional inside sales experience required; experience in a related industry preferred (SAP or tax technology).
- Self-motivated to meet established sales quotas.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent research and organization skills.
- Persuasive communication style and initiative to follow-up with prospects through closure.
- Knowledge of Windows platform and Microsoft programs required.
- Ability to travel approximately 15% required.
