Job Title: Heavy Duty Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Protea Maritime Connection. As a Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy duty equipment, electrical equipment, and wet equipment in our workshop.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Expertise in technical and troubleshooting repairs of marine engines;
  • Background as chief engineer in fishing or offshore industry;
  • Team player;
  • Safety awareness, conscious, reliable;
  • Adaptable to harsh environments;
  • Willing to work long hours (minimum 12 per day);
  • Confident with modern technology and computer systems;
  • Preference for South African or Zimbabwean nationals.
