The Above Water Warfare Fire Control System (AWW-FCS) is designed to safeguard naval vessels and associated units from aerial threats. As these threats evolve to become more rapid, intelligent, and intricate, AWW-FCS leverages Thales' state-of-the-art dual-band radar technology, which combines an Active Phased-Array Radar (APAR) in the X-band with a Sea Master 400 radar in the S-band.
With anti-ship missiles traveling at speeds three to five times that of sound and exhibiting increasingly sophisticated behaviors, the challenge for human operators to implement effective defensive measures intensifies, especially when confronted with multiple threats simultaneously. The AWW-FCS equips operators with the critical information necessary to make timely and informed decisions.
By integrating advanced sensors with an intelligent Fire Control System, AWW-FCS continuously evaluates the optimal strategies for engaging identified threats. This system merges radar capabilities with intelligent algorithms, designed to assist weapon systems in accurately targeting, tracking, and neutralizing threats.
To further enhance our development capabilities, we are seeking a
SCRUM MASTER (Fire Control Systems)
to join our multidisciplinary and self-organizing Agile/Scrum teams. Beyond software product development, our teams are accountable for various critical functions, including requirements analysis, system architecture, design, testing, validation, and product demonstrations. Employing cutting-edge techniques and software development methodologies is essential. The software for the Fire Control System is developed using both Java and C++ within a modern development framework.
As a Scrum Master, you will adeptly apply Agile principles and the Scrum framework. You will serve as a mentor and coach, both challenging and supporting the team to achieve optimal results. Your role will involve proactive facilitation, enabling you to navigate and adapt to changing circumstances effectively. The Scrum Master acts as the essential lubricant for our teams, ensuring they operate smoothly and efficiently.
