Project Overview
We have initiated the preliminary design phases and outlined the blueprint for constructing a substantial warehouse in Tiel-Medel. In this facility, RITUALS and the third-party logistics provider will implement an automated omni-channel operation. This project spans over three years, with efforts coordinated among RITUALS, the 3PL, the building developer, and the construction firm. Our goal is clear: "Supply Chain will never be the bottleneck for growth."
Role Summary
For this logistics initiative, we seek a highly skilled senior program manager. The ideal candidate will have prior experience launching warehouses or factories and possess a deep understanding of managing programs of this scale, complexity, and budget. If you have a background in 3PL, shipping, or integration, along with robust program management capabilities and a proven history of establishing large logistics facilities, this role may be your next career advancement.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain, you will oversee the program management of the development and launch of the new RITUALS distribution center. You will collaborate closely with the future 3PL, the DC development team, and the RITUALS project group, including external specialists. This program signifies a major investment and requires management across multiple stakeholders, representing a landmark logistics initiative.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overall accountability for program management of the DC initiative (planning, budget oversight, progress tracking, and risk management);
- Establishing and maintaining the appropriate project structure, resource allocation, and governance from RITUALS' perspective;
- Supervising the execution of project tasks across all streams, partners, and suppliers;
- Developing and maintaining contractual frameworks in collaboration with our legal team;
- Facilitating executive decision-making by providing accurate status reports and content updates.
You will report to and work closely with the Director of Logistics, while also engaging with the steering committee. Additionally, you will lead the program team, collaborating with Supply Chain teams, business units, Business Technology, and customers.
Candidate Profile
The Senior Program Manager for Logistics & Supply Chain will play a crucial role in supporting RITUALS' growth by managing the establishment of the new DC operation, including scaling and transition.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in distribution network and distribution center transformation, including the implementation of new centers and warehouse automation;
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics is preferred;
- Strong program management experience and skills in logistics operations;
- Excellent stakeholder management abilities and experience managing Logistics / 3PL partnerships;
- An understanding of IT design and implementation;
- Fluency in Dutch and English.
