Job Title: Head of IT Department

We are seeking an experienced and visionary IT leader to join our team as Head of IT Department at The British School in The Netherlands. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the strategic direction of our IT department and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to support our students, staff, and parents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to deliver IT services and support across the school
  • Develop and implement IT strategies to support the school's mission and goals
  • Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, including network, cloud, and security
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to ensure IT services align with school objectives
  • Manage IT budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of funds
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in IT leadership, preferably in an educational setting
  • Strong technical skills, including network, cloud, and security
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals
  • Experience with IT project management and budgeting
