Our luxurious hotel in Amsterdam is seeking a highly skilled Food and Beverage Manager to oversee the smooth operation of our fine dining restaurant and bars. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth through effective food and beverage service management.
About the Position:
- Develop and implement food and beverage strategies to drive revenue growth and improve guest satisfaction
- Lead and manage a team of food and beverage staff, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent service standards
- Monitor and control food and beverage inventory, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste
- Manage relationships with suppliers, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to staff
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment
Requirements:
- At least 4 years of experience in a management role within the food and beverage industry
- Previous experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants is essential
- Proven track record of managing multiple outlets and driving revenue growth
- Strong leadership and commercial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, suppliers, and guests
- WSET certification and international hotel experience are highly desirable
