Boskalis Marine Services is seeking an experienced Offshore Robotics Operations Manager to join our team. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to work with state-of-the-art electronic and hydraulic equipment, coordinating complex robotics operations from our onshore base.
In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our Work Class Remotely Operated Vehicle (WROV) systems, used in various projects such as subsea oil and gas development, offshore wind installations, and UXO surveys.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating WROV operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies;
- Developing and maintaining schedules for WROV Maintenance & Repair programs;
- Liaising with offshore teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency;
- Maintaining performance reports, including budgets, for WROV systems and equipment;
- Ensuring safety regulations are adhered to and best practices implemented;
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for WROV systems;
- Managing inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables for WROV operations;
- Conducting regular audits and inspections of WROV equipment and facilities;
- Preparing detailed documentation and reports on WROV operations;
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met;
- Liaising with subcontractors on WROV services.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience;
- Experience working with electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanics;
- Preferably experience with Work Class ROVs;
- Offshore experience is preferred;
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field;
- A team player mentality;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications;
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
What We Offer
