WROV Operations Manager

The WROV Onshore Coordinator plays a crucial role in the coordination and management of our worldwide WROV operations and maintenance activities from our onshore base.
This position is responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our WROV systems, which are used in various fields such as subsea oil and gas development projects, IRM, offshore wind projects, construction, UXO surveys, cable lay/pipe lay, trenching, salvage, and scientific research.
The WROV Onshore Coordinator will be responsible for:
- Coordinating all WROV operations to ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies;
- Developing and maintaining schedules for WROV Maintenance & Repair programs;
- Liaising with offshore WROV teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency;
- Monitoring and reporting on the performance, including budgets, for the WROV systems and equipment;
- Ensuring all WROV operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices;
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting for WROV systems;
- Managing inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables for WROV operations;
- Conducting regular audits and inspections of WROV equipment and facilities;
- Preparing and maintaining detailed documentation and reports on WROV operations;
- Collaborating with Operation managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met;
- Liaising with and managing subcontractors on WROV services.
To be successful in this role, the WROV Onshore Coordinator should have:
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience;
- Experience in working with electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanics;
- Experience with Work Class ROVs is preferred;
- Offshore experience is preferred;
- Education (bachelor's) degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field;
- A team player mentality;
- Willingness to travel globally to our WROV systems, subcontractors, and vessels;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications;
- Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a 24-hour industry;
- Professional English communication skills (both written and verbal).
