Key Responsibilities

The WROV Onshore Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing worldwide WROV operations and maintenance activities from our onshore base. This role is crucial to ensure the efficient and safe operation of our WROV systems, which are used in various fields such as subsea oil and gas development projects, IRM, offshore wind projects, construction, UXO surveys, cable lay/pipe lay, trenching, salvage, and scientific research.

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of relevant working experience and a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field. They will be responsible for coordinating all WROV operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies, developing and maintaining schedules for WROV Maintenance & Repair programs, and liaising with offshore WROV teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.

The WROV Onshore Coordinator will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on the performance, including budgets, for the WROV systems and equipment, ensuring all WROV operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices, providing technical support and troubleshooting for WROV systems, managing inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables for WROV operations, conducting regular audits and inspections of WROV equipment and facilities, and preparing and maintaining detailed documentation and reports on WROV operations.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in working with electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanics
  • Experience with Work Class ROVs is preferred
  • Offshore experience is preferred
  • Education (bachelor's) degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field
  • A team player mentality
  • Willingness to travel globally
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Professional English communication skills
