About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Onshore WROV Coordinator to join our team at Boskalis Marine Services. As a key member of our WROV Onshore team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing our worldwide WROV operations and maintenance activities from our onshore base.

This is a challenging and complex role that requires strong technical knowledge and excellent communication skills. You will work closely with our offshore WROV teams, fleet, crewing, finance, SHEQ, and commercial colleagues to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate all WROV operations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies;
  • Develop and maintain schedules for WROV Maintenance & Repair programs;
  • Liaise with offshore WROV teams to ensure seamless communication and operational efficiency;
  • Monitor and report on the performance, including budgets, for the WROV systems and equipment;
  • Ensure all WROV operations adhere to safety regulations and best practices;
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for WROV systems;
  • Manage inventory and procurement of spare parts and consumables for WROV operations;
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of WROV equipment and facilities;
  • Prepare and maintain detailed documentation and reports on WROV operations;
  • Collaborate with Operation managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met;
  • Liaise with and manage subcontractors on WROV services.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant working experience;
  • Experience in working with electronics, hydraulics, and/or mechanics;
  • Experience with Work Class ROVs is preferred;
  • Offshore experience is preferred;
  • Education (bachelor's) degree in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering, Marine Technology, or a related field;
  • A team player mentality;
  • Willingness to travel globally, to our WROV systems, subcontractors, and vessels;
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant software applications;
  • Knowledge of industry safety standards and best practices;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, in a 24hrs industry;
  • Professional English communication skills (both written and verbal).
