Market Surveillance Officer

As a Market Surveillance Officer at ABN AMRO, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our markets and maintaining a fair and transparent trading environment. Your primary responsibility will be to detect and investigate potential market abuse, working closely with our Compliance and Risk Management teams to identify and mitigate any risks.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective surveillance strategies to detect and prevent market abuse
- Investigate and analyze suspicious trading activity, working closely with our Compliance and Risk Management teams
- Collaborate with our Trading and Operations teams to ensure that all trading activity is compliant with relevant regulations and policies
- Provide regular reporting and updates to senior management on market abuse trends and risks
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators and industry peers
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in market surveillance and risk management. You will have a deep understanding of market abuse regulations and a proven track record of detecting and investigating suspicious trading activity. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
