Role Overview
In this position, you will spearhead the development and design of AI-powered applications. Our current focus is on creating cutting-edge solutions utilizing large language models (LLMs) such as OpenAI's GPT. A key aspect of your role will be ensuring that all applications are secure, scalable, and reproducible. Collaboration with Data Scientists will be essential to enhance the Machine Learning Lifecycle, emphasizing code quality, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), testing, and monitoring. You will also prioritize security and compliance within NN's operational framework.
- You will deploy AI models (data products) into production, often in the form of APIs.
- You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the machine learning infrastructure that integrates seamlessly into the NN ecosystem.
- You will create AI applications adhering to CI/CD principles, ensuring high-quality code, thorough testing, and effective monitoring.

Your Profile
You value the importance of delivering well-architected applications that require minimal maintenance. You enjoy sharing your expertise with colleagues and take the time to guide them through your processes. Your approachable demeanor and strong communication skills are vital in this collaborative environment. Additionally, you possess:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in IT or a related field with a significant IT component, accompanied by at least 3 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in Software/DevOps engineering and the development of machine learning applications.
- Familiarity with the data science workflow, including data collection, cleansing, model evaluation, and implementation.
- Experience in developing (Flask) APIs and implementing CI/CD practices.
- Ideally, experience in building applications within the (Azure) Cloud, as well as knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
Collaboration
You will be part of our Competence Center, focusing on developing applications for various business projects. Your team will include several data scientists and another machine learning engineer, fostering close collaboration. We also engage with multiple end-to-end teams, facilitating the exchange of specialized knowledge to enhance efficiency in creating scalable solutions. This collaborative approach promotes continuous learning and improvement in AI capabilities.
Together, we will develop state-of-the-art solutions using Python and the (Azure) cloud environment. This role offers significant freedom and responsibility, contributing to your professional growth. Our team operates in a hybrid model, meeting in the office at least once a week.
